Bill’s professional life has been a commitment to individuals, families and children. He was the Founder and Executive Director of the Montclair Counseling Center. Through his 28 years of leadership the Center became one of the largest private centers in New Jersey, having offices in Basking Ridge, Short Hills, and Upper Montclair. He personally served over 30,000 people and the Center staff over 400,000.
The Center’s focus was to find a healthy core of each individual, family, school or organization to help it grow emotionally, spiritually and financially. Through the years Bill became a consulting source for private and public schools and professional organizations.
He became a consultant to law firms dealing with conflict resolution and mergers. For several years he was a training consultant at Kidder Peabody Brokerage Firm.
In 2002 he became Associate Minister at Marble Collegiate Church in New York City. His responsibilities included adult education, counseling, coaching and a national Senior Minister search.
His education includes a seminary degree from United Seminary, Dayton, Ohio, a doctorate in Pastoral Psychology from Andover Newton Theological School, and a post doctorate term at the Erikson Center Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School.
Bill is married to Judith, a retired Hospice Nurse, has two adult sons and seven grandchildren.
