Vin has extensive general management experience worldwide in the Information Technology Industry. Positions held included: European Product Line Manager, Operations Management, Business Development, Product Line Controller and Consulting as well as the design, development, and delivery of Executive Education.

       Vin’s specific experience includes:

ADJUNCT PROFESSOR at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU):  Adjunct faculty for five years in the School of Entrepreneurship as instructor, coach, and mentor to more than 500 students and military veterans focused on their start-up businesses.

IBM, Executive Business INSTITUTE: As Consulting Learning Executive sold, designed, developed, and delivered innovative educational business programs to internal and external clients worldwide. Using Bain’s Net Promoter Score to measure client’s feedback, resulted in the continuous improvement to the quality of the programs that led to significant repeat and reference business.

As a coach, facilitator and trainer, Vin developed and delivered Solution Selling to the C Suite and Partnering workshops to thousands of internal and external clients worldwide. Designed specifically to enhance their consultative selling and collaborative skills. This resulted in accelerating the sales cycle and generating significant new opportunities and increased sales.

IBM, Lotus Software Group: Senior Manager, Business Skills Development, Partnering & Collaboration workshops with worldwide channel partners focused on improving their business performance. This led to generating $35 million in new software revenue while also generating $350 million in recurring service revenue for IBM/Lotus and its partners. Designed, developed, and delivered Business Partner Investor Ready workshops. This led to securing over $10 million in early stage funding for our Business Partners with Angel and Venture Investors.

DIGITAL EQUIPMENT CORPORATION: Held senior management leadership positions including European Product Line Manager growing revenue from $50 thousand to $50 million. Director Northeast Regional Services Business Manager accountable for $250 million in revenue. Top performing region for two consecutive years.

Vin has extensive experience in the Information Technology Industry. Successfully collaborating at mid and senior management levels within organizations from startups to upper mid-market organizations. Prior to the advent of the Worldwide Web, created the first internal Global Electronic Marketplace (GEM) that connected IBM/Lotus Business Partners worldwide, creating thousands of opportunities to partner together that resulted in generating significant new revenue streams.

Vin’s work in the community includes:

  • SCORE Naples Chapter, Naples, FL: chapter member emeritus and former Vice chairman and Board member coaching & mentoring entrepreneurs
  • K is for Kids, Naples Florida: former board member for student volunteer-based nonprofit organization building readers and future leaders
  • Junior Achievement, Naples Florida: Instructor for entrepreneurship and financial literacy programs to students at Lorenzo Walker Technical High School and College.

 

Vin received an MBA, Southern New Hampshire University; Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Bentley University; Executive Management Program, Babson College; IBM Certified Coach: InsideOut Development;  Member United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE): Member of Association for Talent Develop (ATD) and received ATD Certification in e-learning instructional design, development & delivery program.
