Robert D. Morlot

Robert is an experienced operating executive with significant management consulting and market development experience across multiple business environments – large company, boutique, start-up, and turn around. During his career he has held individual contributor and senior leadership roles in several large consulting firms amassing a consistent track record of building businesses and teams, and exceeding financial targets. He is the Managing Partner of Clearwater Business Advisers LLC. The firm helps senior leaders of early stage and mid-market companies build (or recover) operating performance by providing deep expertise in finance, corporate governance, sales, organization effectiveness and talent management.

Previously, Robert has held positions in marketing and sales as well as in client service delivery. These positions include principal – Cambria Consulting; managing director – Lee Hecht Harrison; senior manager – Andersen Consulting (accenture); senior manager/practice leader – Deloitte & Touche; national account manager – Development Dimensions International. His earlier corporate experience includes managerial marketing positions with Group W Broadcasting/The Disney Channel (a Westinghouse joint venture) and Emery Worldwide (a CF company).

Robert received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Southern Connecticut State University in the field of education. He has completed numerous training and certification programs in the areas of large account relationship management, advanced organization change, job analysis, competency assessment, competency modeling and employee selection. Robert maintains his interest in education through fund raising activities connected with several New England independent schools and previously as a Parent Advocate for the Center for Talented Youth Program, Johns Hopkins University. He has also served as a member of the Board of Directors for Father Flannigan’s Boys Town of New York.

Robert splits his time between the New York area and Bonita Springs, Florida.
